It
was a beautiful day, and the Stony Glen team had done their homework and a
lot of labor to prepare camp for the first annual Run
the Glen event. 176 runners and walkers participated in the event, and the
reviews are overwhelmingly positive. A ringing success for a first attempt, and
great support and visibility for Stony Glen, as well as visibility for CSB Ministries, Cedarbrook, and
the sponsors of the event.
Steve
Miller and I (Dale Kinkade) were on-site to represent CSB Ministries and Ohio
Brigade Camp. We had a blessed time meeting old friends and making new ones,
and there were a number of Brigade alum represented as participants.
A real jewel of CSB representation is the crew Todd Rabal pulled together to
serve at the event. Many Ohio Brigade Camp young men and leaders were represented on the service
team to help with sanitation, kitchen, parking, and much more. Thank you guys
for living up to our middle name, “Service”, and thank you Todd for leading these
guy honorably!
